SIETAR EUROPA SEMINAR - Sharing Intercultural Expertise
June 1, 2006 at Sofia University
In conjunction with its quarterly Board of Directors meeting, SIETAR Europa (The Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) together with ELC Ltd. organized and carried out a free-of-charge day-long seminar on June 1, 2006 at Sofia University. Members of the SIETAR Board of Directors teamed up with local Bulgarian intercultural experts to present instruments and learning processes in the field of intercultural communication and global working expertise.
Workshops in the seminar covered issues such as Bulgarian core values through foreign eyes and their effect on international work, negotiation in Bulgaria, and the link between gender and culture.
The event also served as an introduction for the SIETAR 2007 congress.
